I hope this message finds you well. While researching the history of Jewish radio in Tucson, I came across this article (http://www.oldradio.com/archives/stations/tus/tusradio2.htm), and I’m wondering if you’re the author – the contact information listed is out of date.
I’m the Program Coordinator at the Jewish History Museum in Tucson (and also a fellow Jewish ham – I don’t think there are that many of us). I’m really interested to learn more about your work with Spanish radio stations in Tucson in the 60s and 70s.
I’m particularly curious to find out if you know anything about an apocryphal tale we at the museum have heard – that at one point a Spanish radio station was actually housed in the building we now occupy, the historic Stone Avenue Temple. I’m hoping to do some research into it and put together some exhibition materials to recover this fascinating part of the building’s past.
I wasn’t sure from reading the article whether you still live in Tucson, but I’d love to find a time to chat on the phone with you if you’re not. I hope we can connect soon.
